Pioneers On Unium, Now available in e-Book and large print Softcover through the publisher LifeRich Publishing. This is my first published Science Fiction Fantasy, Adventure novel and is in the very early stages of a promotional startup. As of this writing, the only artist working on this project is me, and I am not an artist. Included below is a description for artists of a scene in chapter three of Pioneers On Unium that was considered a book cover idea. Artist Outline For Cover Design Three
Chapter Three
Character Appearance
- A muscular white man, about 6' 2", with long brown chestnut hair about the middle of the back length, held in place by a leather headband.
- Shirtless with long-legged buckskin breeches with fringe down the two outer sides.
- Feet covered in calf-high moccasins with fringe circling the top.
- On the man's right side hangs a butcher knife, in a homemade leather sheath.
- On the right hip hangs a hatchet.
- Hanging on the man's left side is a small leather food pouch.
- Hanging on the man's left shoulder is a deer gut canteen.
- Hanging across the man's right shoulder is a quiver of arrows and a bow. All are handmade.
Beast Man's Appearance
- The beast man stands approximately 7' 6" and was around 450 pounds.
- The beast man's body is covered with yellow-greenish hair.
- The humanoid's face, hands, and feet were hairless.
- The creature's face showed some definite human characteristics.
- The beast man walks on two legs like a human.
- The hairy giant wares no clothes, nor jewelry, and it does not carry weapons.
- Overall, the beast man looks very much like the legendary bigfoot of earth.
Action Scene
- The earthman is in a crouching position, pointing a spear at the bigfoot-looking creature.
- Laying terrified on the ground, watching the battle getting ready to take place, is a beautiful brown-headed girl whose earth clothes have been ripped off and scattered about the clearing.
- Although the girl is nude, the artwork needs to be suggestive but kept family-friendly.
- The girl's facial expression relays terror. She is so terrified, that the abducted nurse is not even able to rise and flee for her own life.
Descriptions Of Surroundings
- This event takes place in a natural clearing of a forest, with trees the size of redwoods and larger.
- The undergrowth of the area is not dense, but it is very colorful.
- There are no mountains or streams within sight.
- If you are drawing a cover, the top of the picture must be done in a fashion to allow room for the title, and author's name, to appear without interfering with the main art. See the example provided below.
